A New Book for Your Summer Reading List

by Tabby Biddle

There are so many women today who are searching for their voice – their true, authentic voice. We women want access to this voice because we know deep inside that it is the pathway to our self-fulfillment, full self-expression and joy.

It is also the pathway to our greater leadership, influence and power — to serve at our highest level and make the contributions we are here to make.

We are tired of people-pleasing, putting other people’s needs and voices above our own, and diminishing ourselves in the face of others.

We have spent centuries being told we are “less than,” “not worthy,” “don’t matter,” and other things much worse. The oppression of women and girls and the silencing of our voices is a global phenomenon.

As a women’s leadership coach, gender equity advocate, and writer specializing in women, leadership and power, I have seen firsthand and close-up the challenges women face when it comes to finding their voice.

I, too, have encountered many of these same challenges over the years.

That’s why I’m very excited to share with you a new book that released today.

It’s a book about owning and using your voice in the way you’ve always longed to!

As you know, this topic is near and dear to my heart. I wrote my own book on this topic.

What’s different and what I love about this book is that it was written by a psychotherapist who, for over two decades, has been studying the long-held habitual emotional patterns and limiting beliefs that keep women from owning and using their voice.

In response, she has developed gender-specific therapeutic insights that empower women to own the power of their voice.

This female-centered psychotherapist has taken her insights from over 40,000 hours of clinical experience and woven them into an inspirational, motivating and highly practical guide to owning your power and your voice!

I’m honored to share that this book was written by my client, colleague, Women on Stage and Write Your Book graduate, Margo Tirado!

“Years ago you lit my torch, and now I get to pass this torch onto other women,” says Margo. It’s a true honor to share Margo’s book with you today.

Whether you want to develop more self-confidence in your leadership, take up more space with your presence, be more assertive in relationships, create healthy boundaries, speak up without being afraid, stand for the issues you care about most, or have the courage to pursue bigger opportunities, this book will help you do that!

Over the years I’ve known Margo, I’ve had the great pleasure of watching her build her leadership platform and amplify her voice to empower women and make a positive difference in the world.

Margo has told me that she has the goal to empower a million women in her lifetime. She is well on her way!

Not only is Margo is a talented psychotherapist, she is life coach, speaker and brilliant storyteller. A few years ago in Chicago, she delivered an important, insightful TEDx talk on “How to Quiet a Shame-Producing Toxic Voice,” where she also danced flamenco on stage. 🔥

“When a woman has a strong voice, she is able to amplify her values, own her perspective, and govern the trajectory of her future.”

- Margo Tirado, Psychotherapist & Author, Own Your Voice

I hope you enjoy Margo’s book as much as I did! It’s the kind of book you want to share with your friends, colleagues, and family – and frankly any woman you know who is struggling with the common challenge of owning her voice and fully stepping into who she came here to be. Learn more.
