How this Mentorship Works

01 / WEEKLY 1:1 MENTORSHIP
Over 12 weeks, we’ll work together privately to develop your TEDx idea, talk, applications, and delivery, with strategic guidance and honest feedback throughout.

02 / TEDx OPPORTUNITY STRATEGY
We’ll identify aligned TEDx opportunities and develop strong pitches and applications that communicate your idea and why you’re the person to share it.

03 / GUIDED WORK BETWEEN SESSIONS
You’ll receive customized assignments and clear next steps to keep your TEDx process moving forward between our sessions.

04 / EDITORIAL + STRATEGIC REVIEW
I’ll provide multiple editorial reviews of your talk and TEDx applications, helping you strengthen your ideas, language, structure, and impact.

05 / REHEARSAL + EMBODIED DELIVERY
We’ll rehearse and refine your talk, with tools to support memorization, embodied stage presence, and confident delivery.

  • No. You just need to have a sense of what you want to talk about, but you don’t need to be 100% clear yet on your “idea worth spreading.” We’ll clarify that together in our process.

  • No. This mentorship is designed for women who are ready to actively pursue TEDx. I’ll help you identify aligned TEDx opportunities, develop your pitches and applications, and prepare you for the selection process while we develop your idea and talk.

  • Participating in this mentorship can accelerate your path to the TEDx stage; however, it does not guarantee a spot. Speaker selection is ultimately determined by each independent TEDx organizer.

  • If you’ve already been selected for a TEDx event and your primary need is to develop, write, rehearse, and prepare your talk for the stage, Speak on Stage may be the better fit.

    Speak on Stage is a focused 8-week Private Mentorship designed for women who already have a speaking opportunity and need expert support getting their talk stage-ready.

  • TEDx Private Mentorship is for the woman whose specific goal is the TEDx stage. Over three months, we will work together on your TEDx idea, talk development, opportunity strategy, pitches and applications, and preparation for the stage.

    Speak on Stage is for the woman who already has a confirmed speaking opportunity and needs to develop, write, refine, and rehearse her talk. It is an 8-week mentorship focused primarily on getting you and your talk stage-ready.

  • Yes. For speakers who have already been invited to submit a TEDx draft for consideration and are working under a deadline, I offer a TEDx Editorial Review. This is a written review focused on idea clarity, structure, and overall readiness for submission.

    If you’re seeking deeper support, including developing your talk from concept through completion, multiple rounds of refinement, embodied delivery practice, or strategic guidance throughout the TEDx process, the TEDx Private Mentorship is designed to support you at that depth.

  • If your goal is to become a public speaker and thought leader, develop your Signature Talk, build your speaking platform, and create a strategy for pursuing aligned and paid speaking opportunities, Speak & Prosper Private Mentorship may be the better fit.

    During your Discovery Call, we can determine which Private Mentorship best supports where you are and where you want to go.

  • In addition to our weekly private sessions, you’ll want to set aside dedicated time each week to work on your idea, talk, applications, assignments, and rehearsal.

    The exact amount will vary depending on where you are in your TEDx journey, but this is an active mentorship. You’ll get the most from our work together when you have the time and space to engage fully in the process.

  • All private mentorship sessions take place via Zoom, so we can work together from wherever you are in the world.

  • The first step is to apply for TEDx Private Mentorship. You’ll complete a short intake and schedule a Private Discovery Call so I can learn more about you, your TEDx goals, and where you are in the process.
